Scope:

2)      Click on “Search the Library Catalog”

3)      Use left hand pull-down menu to set type of search (author, subject, etc.) 

4)      Use right hand pull-down menu to set library (e.g. Bluefield State College)

5)      Key in search term or phrase, then click GO

6)      Record call number to find item on shelves

7)      Need library card to sign out items, need school ID to get library card

 

How to Use EBSCOhost:

1)      Start from Library Homepage

2)      Click “Find Articles”

3)      Click “EBSCOhost Research Databases”

4)      Click “EBSCOhost Web” 

5)      If off campus use ID & Password

6)      Click “Academic Search Premier” or other relevant database(s) 

7)      Search

8)      Print off full text articles; ask librarian to help find text for citations and abstracts  

 

How to Use Infotrac:

 

1)      Start from Library Homepage

2)      Click “Find Articles”

3)      Click “Infotrac”

4)      Click Proceed if on campus or if off campus use ID & Password

5)      If prompted, select “Expanded Academic ASAP”
