We support students, staff and faculty through a variety of services: registering students each semester, evaluating transfer credit, issuing grades and academic transcripts.
Your advisor will provide you with a pin number to access online registration for Bluefield State, or you may prepare a registration form and deliver it to the Registrar’s office.
The Registrar’s Office certifies that students have fulfilled all requirements for graduation. Read the graduation check-list and complete the Bluefield State application for graduation the semester prior to the semester in which you plan to graduate.
Your academic transcript is your official cumulative academic record that contains the terms you were enrolled as a student and what classes you took. Grades earned, degrees awarded, academic actions and honors are also included.
There are two types of transcripts: official and unofficial. An official academic transcript is printed on the college’s transcript paper and contains the school stamp and signature of the registrar. Official transcripts are normally required by educational institutions, employers, government agencies, etc, and cannot be faxed. Unofficial transcripts contain the same information but are not printed on transcript paper, do not contain the school stamp or the registrar’s signature, and may be faxed.
In order to receive a transcript, you must make a request in writing. Complete the transcript request form and mail or fax it to the Registrar’s Office. Please note: we are unable to express mail or overnight transcripts, so please plan ahead.
Mail requests along with a check or money order to cover the $10 fee to:
