The Division of Student Affairs and Enrollment Management strengthens Bluefield State College's capacity to recruit, retain and graduate students by bringing staff and resources under one umbrella to facilitate greater collaboration around shared recruitment, retention, and graduation goals. The offices include Admissions, Alumni Affairs, BSC CARES Suicide Prevention Services, Career Services, Counseling, Testing and Advising, Education Opportunity Center, Financial Aid, Health Center, Retention Services, Student Life, Student Support Services and the Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs and Enrollment Management.
Students are provided the opportunity to develop and achieve their individuals goals with the coordinated support, cooperation and encouragement of faculty and staff. Students are enriched and encouraged of faculty and staff. Students are enriched and encouraged socially, intellectually, culturally, economically and personally through classroom as well as extracurricular activities. High expectations will be set and communicated while engaging students in active learning.
